During the first second Thursday of the month, Downtown Los Angeles hosts The Downtown Art Walk. Held between the intersections of 2nd and 9th, on the streets of Main and Spring, many people, young and old come out to take a stroll to see the many galleries and art exhibits to witness what artists have to offer. Not only is there a lot of art presentations, they also offer many activities and art related events for everyone to enjoy. The LA Art Walk is usually at 6 p.m to 10 p.m. and admission is always free. Many of these galleries are usually not open to the public to view unless you have an appointment so it is a great way to check out some of the unique and amazing work that many don’t get to see everyday.
