Cypress College VRC
Asher Zapian, United States Army Veteran and second year student at Cypress College sits in the Veterans Resource Center waiting for his next class to begin. When asked about current issues that interested him he stated that he is concerned with foreign government influence on the United States government. Asher says that he see’s US citizens becoming more aware of this issue.

Cypress College VRC
Rafael Maldonado, Veteran of the United States Marine Corp and second year student at Cypress College, poses for the camera in the Cypress College Veterans Resource Center while waiting for his next class to being. Maldonado wants to bring to attention the positive impact that the VRC has had on his transition from military into veteran student life. Specifically the first year coalition program in which he was able to take classes with other veterans making the transition more comfortable knowing there would be people with shared life experience next to him.
