Cypress College language department will host its third annual Cultural festival.
The Foreign Language Department and the international club at Cypress will be hosting an event on Thursday Oct. 16, from 10:45 a.m . to 5:30 p.m. The festival will be set up outside the west entrance of the FASS building, in between the Humanities and College Complex buildings. Parking will be free for visitors in student lots only.
Students and faculty from the foreign language programs and international club will be presenting projects that highlight and celebrate traditions from around the world. The festival will showcase traditional food, music, and live performances. Visitors will be greeted with 17 different types of international cuisine from all around the world throughout the event.
This will be the final event of the Hispanic Heritage month celebrations, closing out weeks of cultural events and recognition throughout campus.
All students and staff are welcome and encouraged to invite family and friends and check out all the exhibitions. The event will be filled with activities and provides a chance to connect on campus and learn new things. The event is made to bring in unity and show off the diversity of the campus.
