As the days grow shorter and the temperatures cool, Orange County welcomes fall with hundreds of events this season.
Whether you are planning a family outing or a day with friends, here are some ideas to make the most of Fall.
These four events are happening in Orange County this fall:
The Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch
Open Sept. 16 to Oct. 30, pumpkin patches are one of the most popular fall traditions, especially with Halloween around the corner. Pumpkin picking from the vine, a corn maze, and festival games will be available. The Tanaka Grill will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and open Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Anaheim Fall Festival & Halloween Parade
On Saturday, Oct 26 the Anaheim Fall Festival and Halloween Parade will be along Center Street Promenade, and run by local volunteers. There will be food vendors, artist booths, entertainers, photo opportunities, and a parade float scavenger hunt. The festival is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The parade is at 7 p.m.
Knotts Scary Farm
Knotts Scary Farm is back for its 50th anniversary and will be open from Sept. 19 to Nov. 2 The theme park has haunted mazes, attractions, sinister shows, and hundreds of creatures hiding around the foggy park. The park opens at 7 p.m. and stays open until either 1 a.m. or 2 a.m.
Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch
From Sept. 28 to Oct. 31 the Orange County Fair and Event Center will be hosting a free admission pumpkin patch in Costa Mesa. Inflatable slides, rides for children, a petting zoo, and a train will be available at this event.
So whether you’re going with friends, family, or significant others these events will be available all fall long for your enjoyment. Fall is a great time of year to get cozy and find different ways to enjoy the transition from the hotter months to the cooler months. It’s also a good excuse to drink anything pumpkin-flavored!
