Jordan Fleck’s story as a basketball player started since he was five years old. He went to his older brother’s basketball practices and do drills to work on ball handing and shooting among other things with the team.
From then on, his family encouraged him to continue his athletics in football for his high school team.
He played at Pacifica High School junior and senior year and received 1st team all-league two times and all CIF also two times. He has multiple tournament awards and one tournament “most outstanding player”. Although he played baseball and soccer, and now he plays football for fun, Fleck’s has a strong passion for basketball and wanted to play in college.
His teammates help to continually fuel his love for the sport. “I loved the team camaraderie because I played with the same team since his freshman year and was best friend with my team mates”
By remaining passionate about the sport and realizing what he values the most, Fleck accrues great success in his athletics. He recently played for a Sophomore College Showcase, was one of the top players and got all tournament honors.
In the future, he wants to play as long as he can and go to a four year school where he can play at and dreams to eventually coach. “If I don’t coach, I want to be a high school teacher or own my own business”.
With such a supportive group around him and big plans in his midst, the Charger basketball team has many good things to see from Fleck. “My dream since I was child was to play college basketball and now I am finally living my dream” he said. For Jordan, there is nowhere but up.
