The stars will be out next week at Cypress College, and not the kind that grace the cover of Paper Magazine.
The only moon that will be visible is the one in the sky, the view courtesy of the Cypress College Astronomy club. The club will hold one of its star parties next Wednesday, Dec. 3, in front of the library near the ponds.
The popular event, held only a couple times every semester, will be open to students of all majors.
The club counts on the evening viewing to begin at approximately 6:30. Students who come to the star party can expect to see some magnificent stellar images through the club’s high quality telescopes.
Though the club’s last meeting of the semester has already passed, students interested in joining next semester should come out to meet current members and socialize with fellow astronomy enthusiasts.
As for students who just want to see the night sky like never before, the Astronomy club invites all to come to the party next week.
