The financial aid application for the 2027-2028 academic year is officially open for students. The application will be covering fall 2027, spring 2028, and summer 2028.
Students who are planning to fill out a financial aid application must complete either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) in order to receive financial aid.
The Financial Aid office will be holding in-person and online application labs for students. The in-person lab will be on Monday, Nov. 9, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cypress College Complex, Room 414, (CCCPLX-414). The online labs will be through Zoom on the following dates: Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 19, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday, Dec. 3, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
During the in-person and online application labs, students will complete their FAFSA or CADAA step-by-step with staff support on hand to troubleshoot or answer questions in real time.
Students who are planning to attend one of the application labs must fill out this form at https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/4YD5V3tuxK. Students may also visit, call, or email the Financial Aid office if they have any questions or need help.
The financial aid application priority deadline for California is March 2, 2027. Students can still apply after the deadline, but it’s best to complete the application before or on March 2 for priority consideration and to ensure students remain eligible for all types of financial aid.
