Students who wish to transfer to all California State University and University of California schools will start their applications this semester, to ensure their enrollment for the fall of 2025.
The start date to begin applying is Oct. 1 and will run until Dec. 2. All students who plan to transfer must have a GPA over 2.0 and have a “C” or better grade in all general education classes and 60 transferable units in order to apply to four-year schools.
The Transfer Center also holds workshops online and in-person on certain days between September and November to help students fill out their applications. For applicants applying to CSU campuses, in-person workshops are on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at noon, Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 4:30 p.m., Monday., Oct. 29 at 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 7 at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. They are holding the online workshops on Monday, Oct. 7 at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 1 and 11 a.m., and Monday, Nov. 25 at 4 p.m.
Those workshops for students applying to UC campuses are on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 4:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 14 at noon, Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 4:30 p.m., and Thursday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. Their online workshops are on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 24 at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. at noon, and Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 3 p.m.
The Transfer and Pre-graduation fair will be held on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All in-person workshops will be held in the Transfer Center, located on the second floor of the Student Center building. They take walk-ins if students need to set up an appointment with a counselor with any questions they may have about transferring. The online workshops will take place over Zoom where students must sign up to receive the Zoom link for the workshop of their choice.
