Students planning to transfer in Fall 2026 must complete important tasks this spring to ensure a smooth transition.
Students who have submitted their transfer application are expected to complete their Associate Degree for Transfer in Spring 2026. Students must apply for graduation, transfer verification and any certificates by Friday, Feb. 20, 2026. Missing this deadline could result in delays with degree posting or California State Universities admission.
By submitting the necessary application, students can ensure their coursework is reviewed and avoid complications with graduation or transfer. All applications must be submitted via myGateway, students are encouraged to meet with their academic counselor for guidance in completing the forms. Those pursuing multiple degrees or certificates will need to submit separate applications for each.
Students using coursework or test scores from another institution should ensure their official transcripts are updated and on file with the Admissions and Records office. Final transcripts will be due July 15, 2026, intent-to-enroll deadlines are typically around June 1, 2026. As for CSU’s, admission decisions are expected by May 1.
For additional assistance, students can visit the Transfer Center, located near Parking Lot 1. The center’s spring hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in person, as for Friday’s office hours are hosted remotely from 8 a.m.to 5p.m.. Students can also reach the center by phone, (714) 484-7129 or via email at transfercenter@cypresscollege.edu.
