The transfer process can seem intimidating and unnerving, but Cypress College offers services to help the transition go with ease. Located on the 2nd floor of the Student Center, the transfer center is there to answer questions and provide assistance.
Articulation Agreement
The articulation agreement form is a formal agreement between two schools that explains how classes taken at Cypress College may satisfy a subject matter at another university.
Deciding Which School
If unsure as to which school to transfer to, students can meet with a counselor that will discuss options according to their major, GPA, and many other factors that may affect this decision.
University Representative Visits and Fairs
Representatives from various schools come to visit the Cypress College campus. Students can meet with them one on one in order to get insight on the school. The next transfer fair is Thursday, November 7th from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. near the CCCPLX and Theater Building.
Personal Statements
Bring a hard copy of your personal statement along with your i.d., and get your personal statement reviewed.
Scholarships
The transfer center offers many different resources that aid students in the direction of finding scholarships from various places.
Trip Tic
A Trip Tic is a personalized form that lays out the requirements needed to get into the university of the student’s choice.
Workshops
Students can attend various workshops available at the transfer center in order to get help with applications, personal statements, or anything transfer related. Virtual workshops are also available for those who cannot attend the on-campus workshops.
University Tours
Students can go on tours of local universities and receive information about the campus, housing, financial aid, and more.
