The Art Gallery will be hosting a Holiday Art sale from December 11 through December 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. According to the Director of the Art Gallery, the holiday art sale will be taking place inside the Art Gallery, which is being transformed into a winter wonderland by Kirk Pickler and students.
Jannet Owen Driggs, Director of the Art Gallery, said that there will be about 20 vendors
selling their work in the Holiday Art sale, including herself. She mentioned that she hasn’t done any painting for years but is doing painting to sell during the Holiday Art sale.
With all the money that will be collected during the Holiday Art sale, Driggs said “70 percent will be going to the art maker, and 30 percent will be going to the Art Gallery, since it will help us have exhibitions, pay artists to come to talk to students, and do workshops”.
The Gallery will only be accepting cash payments for all transactions.
The Cypress College Art Gallery is located next to the Cypress College Theater Arts.
