Students who will be transferring into the fall 2026 semester for all California State University or University of California schools will be starting their application this semester.
The application to transfer is set to begin on Oct. 1 and will run until Dec. 1. Students who plan to transfer for the fall 2026 semester must have a GPA over 2.0 and have a C or higher grade in all general education classes and 60 transferable units in order to apply to four-year schools.
The Transfer Center will be holding online and in person workshops on certain days between October and November to help students fill out their applications.
For CSU campuses, in-person workshops will begin on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 5. at 5 p.m., and Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 4:30 p.m.
Online Workshops will be held on Tuesday, Oct.7 at 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 10 at 5:30 p.m., and Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 5 p.m.
For UC campuses, in-person workshops begin on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 3 p.m., and Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 3 at 5 p.m., and Thursday, Nov. 20 at 4:30 p.m. Online workshops will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 5 p.m., and Friday, Nov. 14 at 12 p.m.
All in-person workshops will be held at the Transfer Center. Online Workshops will take place at Zoom. A link will be provided. The Transfer & Pre-Graduation fair will take place on Thursday, Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be in front of the Library.
