Conveniently located across the street from Cypress College, Campus Billiards welcomes Cypress College Students with open arms and special deals.
Campus Billiards is located on the corner of Lincoln and Valley View adjacent to the UFC Gym. The bar offers only beer from a with a wide variety of domestic and draft. It also has eight pool tables, couches, numerous dart boards, and booths.
Andrew Sousa, 27, a radiology student at Cypress College strongly believes the bar is a nice place to come and kick back with school mates after a strenuous day of classes.
“After working hard all week with a tight group of classmates we like to come and reward ourself with a beer or two and maybe catch a game here at billiards,” he said. Sousa also believes unwinding after a hard week is more than important.
Campus Billiards is open Sunday to Thursday 2pm to 1am. On Friday and Saturday it is open from 2pm to 2am. You can show up whenever you feel you deserve a break and the staff welcomes newcomers with open arms.
Nick Stonoha, barkeep of Campus Billiards said “our busiest day with Cypress Students always tends to be Thursday and I encourage more students to come play some pool and kick back here at Billiards.”
Stonoha also said the bar exclusively offers Cypress College students a deal they cannot refuse. With a Cypress College identification card, all domestic beers from open to close every Thursday are only $3.50. Stonoha also said on Fridays the bar offers two full sized schooners for $7.50.
Joshua Lourenco, 24, former student at Cypress College also enjoyed at Campus Billiards Bar when he attended three years ago.
“I really liked the atmosphere, full of students relaxing having a good time and the staff is awesome” he said.
“I am not much of a drinker but I defnitely enjoy kicking back with my friends in a relaxed setting after a hard week” said Vincent Lee, age 23, major undeclared.
The bar also offers food and soft drinks for those who do not enjoy alcoholic beverages but age limit still does remain 21 and over.
