“I mustache you a question… will you give blood?”
Kelsey Vargaas is doing her best vampire impression to recruit students, staff and faculty for the blood drive Oct. 2 and 3, 10a.m. to 4:30p.m. at the Student Activities Conference Room in building 8.
Last semester’s blood drive was so successful a record for blood collected was broken, said Vargas associated student vice president of campus activities. Vargas said Cedar Sinai is collecting the blood.
A woman at the AS front desk gave details of the event, which includes a signup sheet so that one can pick an appointment time. Appointments can be scheduled every 15 minutes, for example, 10 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m., etc.
Blood donors get a mustache t-shirt or a coupon for a pint of Baskin Robbins Ice Cream.
