WWE has once again shined in the gaming universe with their latest installment WWE 2K14. Last year WWE and 2K Sports made a game deal which allows 2K Sports to make future WWE Games. This game features an all new 30 Years of Wrestlemania Mode which the player can re-live famous Wrestlemania matches.
This mode introduces the new generation of wrestling fans to classic Wrestlemania matches like Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant from Wrestlemania 3, Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Bret Hart from Wrestlemania 13, The Rock vs Stone Cold from Wrestlemania 15, 17, and 19, or the most recent John Cena vs The Rock from Wrestlemania 28, and 29. This year features more than 70 Superstars and it is jam packed with Today’s Stars like John Cena, The Rock, Cody Rhodes, The Shield(Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns), Sheamus, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Brock Lesnar, and The Undertaker. And Yesterdays Legends including Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon, Diesel, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Andre The Giant, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, and The Ultimate Warrior.
WWE 2K14 are also releasing DLC Packages later this month which includes current superstars like Big E. Langston, Summer Rae, Fandango, The Wyatt Family and Los Matadores. You can also get from,certain DLC Packages, classic superstars like like members of the nWo, there movesets, and skins. Members of the nWo are Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Scott Steiner, “Mr. Perfect” Curt Henning, and X-Pac. you can also get skins, movesets, finishers, and secret championships. This game brings next generation graphics and solid gameplay. It’s new Wrestling System also makes submission moves and reversals more unique and realistic. The game also features it critically praised WWE Universe Mode where you can customize the matches, and outcomes of Monday Night Raw, and Friday Night Smackdown.
This game has surpassed all its other versions and it will be a tough task for the folks at 2K to make it even better for next years version. The only negative part of the game is the commentary. It feels like J.R. And Jerry Lawler are reading a script, when they should speak by the heart to make the game more realistic for the player and give them a better gaming experience.
