As the Fall 2024 semester comes to an end, Students are preparing for finals week by studying at their local coffee shops, or the Cypress College Library located in front of the pond next to the FASS building.
If you feel stressed about finals, Cypress Associated Students and Cypress Active Minds will be hosting a Finals Support Pop-Up on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in front of the library. Students can learn about mental health resources offered on campus, play games, free snacks, and win prizes. Students who bring their AS Benefit card can receive an extra prize. The Cypress College Library will be extending its hours starting on December 2-5 and December 9-12 from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. and December 6-8 from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. The library will be providing snacks, and coffee throughout the night and will be open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Local coffee shops around Cypress College students can go to and study for finals week are 7 Leaves located at the Campus View Center across from Cypress College, the Cypress Coffee Shop located next to the bookstore across from the Student Center, Starbucks located at the Buena Park Marketplace, and 85 Degree Bakery Cafe located at Cypress Village.
The Fall 2024 semester ends on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, and the Winter Intersession begins on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, and the Spring 2025 Semester begins on Monday, Feb. 3, 2025.
