Cypress Campus Safety will start parking enforcement on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025. Students who park on campus must register their vehicle through the Cypress College Online Parking Permit Registration System. Parking permits registered on or after Aug. 29 will need to be picked up at the Campus Safety Office located in the Business Building, on the first floor near Lot 1.
The cost of the parking permit is $40. Permits must be placed inside the vehicle on the lower left side of the windshield.
All vehicles parked on campus must display a current and valid parking permit. Failure to do so may result in a parking citation. Students who receive a parking citation must pay the citation or submit an appeal within 21 days of the date that the citation was issued. Parking citation fines range from $37 to $290, depending on the violation.
To appeal the citation, students can do so by navigating to the parking section on the Cypress College Website or by calling (800) 989-2058. Students can purchase a one-day parking permit by downloading the PayByPhone app available through the Apple Store and Google Play Store, or by scanning QR code signs that are available throughout campus.
The cost of the one-day parking permit is $3 and is valid until 11:59 p.m. on the day that it was purchased. The one-day parking permit allows students to park in any student-marked parking space. Any vehicle found using a one-day parking permit that was issued to another vehicle will receive a parking citation.
