The Long Beach Fine Art and Wine Festival will be held at 386 E Shoreline Village Dr from May 24 to May 26.
The festival will have over 30 different artists along with a wide variety of food trucks to eat from. Some of the artist that will be at the festival include John Scott, Jaimee Marr, Nancy Tome, Antonio Mendoza, and Richard Tash.
The types of art that will be included are watercolor, acrylic, and oil paintings, photography, ceramics, glass, metal, and wood sculptures. “There’s a wide variety of different themes you can see in the art.” said Alyssa Baker, 22, Psychology major.
The themes in these works of art range from traditional to modern to even, southwest. “I’m always on the look out for southwest art and I can never find what I’m looking for. Hopefully, I can go this year.” said Lyz Gonazles, 25, Communications major.
“I went last year for Mother’s day weekend and plan on going again this year.” said Jessica Silva, 24, undecided major.
The event hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday May 25. The hours for Monday, May 26 are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
