Professor Susan Johnson has scheduled an event to raise awareness, respect, and diversity with regards to human sexuality. Students are free to attend, and will be greeted with games, contests, and food that does not require an AS sticker to obtain. There will be prizes as well.
Student Health Center representatives, Planned Parenthood, AIDS Services Foundation, OC ACCEPT and PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays Orange County) will have tables and will be able to answer questions. Students will be encouraged to participate in the upcoming AIDS Walk Orange County at this event.
A Cypress Theater Class will present “Erogenous Zones Speak Out,” selections from The Vagina Monologues, as well as original work in the game room during this event.
These events will occur on Thursday May 8th, from 11-1 P.M. in the “Bridge Quad” by the pond. At 2 P.M. to 3 P.M., a guest speaker from OC ACCEPT will be there. Cookies and tea will be available.
