This year Cypress College affiliations will be holding their own individual graduation celebrations aside from the College’s Commencement. Events listed down below are events still open to attend this May.

The Transfer Center will be holding a transfer celebration, celebrating students transferring in the Fall of 2023. The celebration will be held on May 9 at 1pm-3pm in CCCPX building, room 414. The RSVP deadline is May 7.

Queer-Straight Alliance (QSA) is hosting a Lavender Graduation event, for LGBTQ+ students graduating. Held on May 22 at 6 pm-8pm, the location to be announced soon. The RSVP deadline is May 5 at noon.

Extended Opportunity Program Services (EOPS) is offering a Success Celebration honoring EOPS/CARE, CalWORKs, Guardian Scholars Graduates. Held on May 25 at 6 p.m-8 p.m, located near the Veteran Resources Building. The RSVP deadline is May 15.

Puente will be hosting a celebration for Puente graduates. Held on May 16 at 6 p.m-8 p.m, in CCCPX building, room 414. No RSVP is necessary, Puente students are encouraged to show up.

STEM² is hosting a recognition ceremony for their STEM² transfer students. Celebrating STEM scholars that got admitted to 4-yr Universities. Held on May 26 at 6 p.m- 8 p.m, the location to be announced soon. The RSVP deadline is May 5.

Charger Experience will be putting on a GradFest Celebration. Honoring CEP graduates in their future endeavors. Held on May 11 at 4pm-6pm, the location is near the Cypress College pond. The RSVP deadline is May 9.

The college’s own celebration for this year’s 56th Commencement Ceremony will be held on May 19, 2023 at p.m. To participate in the commencement ceremony, graduates MUST purchase an academic regalia. A RSVP is requested to assist, but not required
